Besides from the 10% cashback on bookings the service was soo good!! Kirsty helped me first with booking my bus pass. And after some trouble with one bus trip that was not booked by the operator, she immediately helped by calling and emailing them and eventually everything turned out to be okay. So I would definitely book using backpacker deals because they help you very well!

Appalling service! Do not use. Couldn't even get through to Customer Service to issue for a refund due getting Covid. The phone line keeps going to voicemail. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Return policy is horrible. I requested a refund on a general admission ticket that was valid for a year after my itinerary changed. Numerous emails later, still no refund. I typically use Viator which has a super easy, immediate return policy. I won't use Backpackers any more.

Marion has been amazing. Unfortunately one of the tours changed times for one of our activities and Marion has been able to help get us our refund. Very pleased. Definitely will be booking with Backpackerdeals again. Great customer service.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Booked a tour, were put on a different tour that would have cost a lot less. Tour operator phoned backpackerdeals straight away and we were promised a refund within 2-3 days. Upon enquiry via email after one week I got a reply to fill out an online form, on completion I got a message that a omeone would get back to me within 72 hours. I sent a second email as I had been told a refund had already been granted, but was only sent a link to the online form again. No personal conversation, just standardized text and the link.
Will definitely NEVER book with this company again. Not counting on seeing my money again….
